RECOVERY TIME

The rhytidectomy recovery period is typically ten to fourteen days. The swelling, bruising, and scarring are significantly reduced after a month of recovery. Daily activities of patients can continue usually within ten days of the procedure. You may feel itchiness, numbness, and skin discoloration around the areas of the incision. Dr. Michael K. Obeng will prescribe treatment for the skin and have bandages applied to protect the face.
