HOW WE DO LIP AUGMENTATION

Dr. Michael K. Obeng will strategically mark your lips prior to the augmentation. He will proceed by injecting the marked sites on the lip. The procedure can take anywhere between fifteen minutes to an hour, depending on the numbers of areas being injected. After the injection, Dr. Michael K.  Obeng will clean the lips with an antibacterial agent.

WHAT LIP AUGMENTATION CAN TREAT

The procedure is most commonly performed using a local or topical anesthetic depending on patient preference. A small needle is inserted directly into the lips and the filler material is placed in appropriate locations. Some benefits of this procedure are:

SPEEDY RECOVERY

Patients can expect mild swelling or bruising associated with numbness. Recovery is generally 24-48 hours, most patients can resume their daily activities immediately after their lip augmentation.
